Description

Jesse & Frank James: A Unique Personal Artifact with a William Quantrill Association. 2.5" x 1.75" piece from a woven coverlet which, according to the accompanying documentation, was acquired by the brothers in trade during the Civil War. The 1972 affidavit further states that the famed leader of Quantrill's Raiders was laid on this blanket when he was shot.
