Description
Patrick Henry: Signed Land Grant. 14 3/4" x 11 1/2" printed and manuscript parchment document, Richmond, Virginia, August 4, 1785, signed "P. Henry" as Governor of the Commonwealth. It grants William Tilton and his Assignees 40,000 acres in the County of Monongalia. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 29" x 20" with caption plaque and copy image portrait of Henry.Condition: Normal folds with some wrinkling and cupping. Signature is nice. Loss to molding on lower left corner of frame.
