Description
Dwight D. Eisenhower: White House Plate. 10.75" dinner plate, very similar in design to the White House Castleton Studios service ordered by Mrs. Eisenhower in 1955. This plate has a 1.75" wide border design with an embossed pinwheel pattern. Marked on back: "Castleton Studios. Expressly decorated for President and Mrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower". This plate exhibits lavish use of gold decoration on a royal blue background. The plate is truly striking!Condition: Near fine.
