Description
[White House]: Executive Protective Service Bicentennial Badge. 2" x 2 3/4" brass badge with Presidential Seal in the center, superimposed on a shield, inscribed: "American Bicentennial 1776-1976 Executive Protective Service". Stamped on verso 655. The colors are painted or silk-screen. The Secret Service Uniformed Division had their badges labeled "Executive Protective Service" from 1970 to 1977. This badge was only worn for one year and usually exhibits chipping and wear to the paint. An example this nice is extremely rare.Auction Info
