Striking 10" x 8" black and white glossy photograph of Jacqueline Kennedy astride her horse, galloping across an open field-an image that captures her lifelong passion for riding. Boldly inscribed in black ink, "For Mary and Chris Black / How I will miss you and how many good wishes I send you for your wonderful new life. Next to my horse, dear Chris, you were always my favorite mode of transportation! / with affection / Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis."The inscription, brimming with Jackie's characteristic wit and warmth, was penned to friends Mary and Chris Black.
