Lincoln & Hamlin: Huge 1860 Jugate Wall Chart Poster. Similar charts were produced for most of the tickets from 1856 through 1884. They are among the most sought-after of political posters-none more so than this beautiful Lincoln and Hamlin version featuring a large bold jugate, with single portrait images of the previous presidents, the Republican Party platform, and more. Measures 26" x 36". There is a similar Douglas-Johnson in this sale which presents the opportunity to "pair" them up!Condition: These charts are notoriously prone to condition issues, often severe. This Lincoln example is a fine specimen, with extremely light but even toning, and a minimum of imperfections such as closely cropped sides which when matted and framed would be unnoticeable. Item presents as very clean with no tears or stains which is remarkable on an item this size. Remnants of past hinged locations are on reverse top margin, which is inconsequential.
