Lincoln & Hamlin, et al: 1860 National Political Chart of the United States. 32" x 42" political chart, printed by King & Baird Printers, 607 Sansom Street, Philadelphia. This desirable campaign chart pictures all the major candidates from the 1860 presidential race. Includes the Republican candidates Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin, Democratic candidates Stephen Douglas and Herschel Johnson and John Breckenridge and Joseph Lane, and the Constitutional candidates John Bell and Edward Everett. Below the map of the United States are the platforms for each party. We cannot find any previous auction records for this chart, and only know of one other example, that being in the Library of Congress. A rare, colorful, and graphic campaign piece.

Condition: Has some scattered loss and creases. Has been backed for stability. The portraits are in excellent condition.
