Lincoln & Hamlin et al: 1860 National Political Chart of the United States. 32" x 42" political chart, printed by King & Baird Printers, 607 Sansom Street, Philadelphia. This desirable campaign chart pictures all the major candidates from the 1860 presidential race. Includes the Republican candidates Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin, Democratic candidates Stephen Douglas and Herschel Johnson and John Breckenridge and Joseph Lane, and the Constitutional candidates John Bell and Edward Everett. Below the hand-colored map of the United States are the platforms for each party. A rare, colorful, and graphic campaign piece.Condition: Somewhat toned with flattened folds. Minor mat burn along the margins. Some edgewear, including soiling, minor creasing, small chips, and short tears, not affecting text or images.
