Abraham Lincoln: Vice-Counsel of Prussia Signed Appointment. 13" x 15", Washington, D.C., August 24, 1861. Appointing Robert Barth to the position of "Vice - Counsel of Prussia, at St. louis, Missouri". Signed by President Abraha Lincoln and Secretary of State William Seward.

Condition: Folds and light toning, light water stain at lower left bottom. Folds have been reinforced on verso. Two splits at integral vertical fold. Original paper seal present. Lincoln and Seward's signature remain bold and clear.
