Octavo. Publisher's olive-green cloth stamped in black. Frontispiece, illustrated title page, and in-text drawings by J. Allen St. John. Facsimile dust jacket.

Later A.L. Burt reprint, PRESENTATION COPY. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED on the front free endpaper recto by the author to his son: "To my chief gardner [sic] Jack Burroughs with lots of love, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzana Ranch, March 15, 1921."

Condition: Corners bumped and a bit rubbed, head and tail of spine pushed and a bit frayed, spine leaning, other edgewear. A few minor spots to textblock.

Accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Linda Burroughs, wife of Danton Burroughs, who was the son of John Coleman (Jack) Burroughs, and grandson of Edgar Rice Burroughs.
