The first time The Boy Who Lived appeared in print

J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. [London]: Bloomsbury, [1997]. Publisher's white and yellow printed wrappers. The title page lists "J. A Rowling" as the author; this error was corrected in the first edition. Page 53 lists "1 wand" twice; this error is retained in the first edition.

UNCORRECTED PROOF. The uncorrected proof of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone appeared in a print run of only 200 copies. This printing marks the first time the story appeared in print.

Condition: Wrappers soiled and with a few creases, a few scuffs and stains, other edgewear. Ink library stamp to half-title, some early leaves creased.
