Large quarto (11 x 8.5 inches; 279 x 215 mm.). [2, limitation leaf], ix, [1, blank], 341, [3, blank] pages. With sixteen color plates mounted on textured white paper, with descriptive tissue guards inserted, and forty-one drawings in black and white. Beautifully bound by Bayntun (Riviere) in modern full green levant morocco, boards ruled and decoratively paneled in gilt, front board decoratively stamped in gilt, spine tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, marbled endleaves, top edge gilt, lower edge trimmed, fore-edge uncut.
