Description

Apollo 13 Flown Interval Timer Knob in Lucite. A 1.75" x 0.625" x 0.5" metal knob sealed in a 2.25" diameter x 1" tall Lucite cylinder with "Interval Timer/ knob/ APOLLO 13/ April 11-17, 1970" engraved on the bottom. Engraved on the bottom of the actual knob is "P/N SEB33100092-005". The interval timer was placed aboard each of the Apollo spacecraft in the event a separate timer was needed. A great item from this mission in which an onboard explosion on the way to the moon threatened the very lives of crewmembers Lovell, Swigert, and Haise. Excellent condition save for some top surface and edge scratches.
