Apollo 16 Flown Toothbrush with Original Pouch Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander John Young. An orange, translucent "Oral B-40" toothbrush, 6.125" long, and still in the 8" x 2.5" plastic pouch in which it flew. The pouch has a flap with a snap closure and there is a piece of Velcro on the back for ease of storage. This was Young's personal toothbrush on man's fifth moon-landing mission, April 16-27, 1972. Excellent condition with some light soiling to the pouch.

Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Certification from John Young stating: "I hereby certify that the translucent orange toothbrush, marked ORAL B-40, that accompanies this letter, was flown to the moon and used by me aboard Apollo 16 April 17-26, 1972. It has been part of my personal collection since the mission."
