Boxed Winchester Model 94 Golden Spike Commemorative Saddle Ring Carbine.Serial no. GS61828, .30-30 WIN. caliber, 20-inch round barrel with ramp rear and hooded front sight. Barrel, cocking lever, trigger and bolt blued. Gold-plated receiver, barrel bands and buttplate. Right side of receiver with scroll engraving along the border; tang marked OCEANS UNITED BY RAIL; left side of receiver machine engraved with 1869 [golden spike] 1969; right side of barrel near receiver stamped in gold GOLDEN SPIKE COMMEMORATIVE. Walnut stock and fore-end with commemorative medallion inset into the right side of the butt. Contained in factory cardboard box and pasteboard sleeve.
Condition: Excellent. Overall showing light handling wear. Action good. Strong bore. Noticeable storage wear to sleeve, Numerous tears.
