Private Purchase Spurs: Unusual Pin & Screw Heel Spurs.This single strap slot pair is unusual in having a horizontal slot. The rowel pins are flush with the sides of the head. Despite having straps, these have heel pins (one missing) behind the neck allowing use as either a strap or a heel spur. They quite small at 3" from end to end. Based on the style of the buckle with integral tongue, these are pre Civil War.
