Miscellaneous Rifle Parts Including Henry and Early Lever-Action Components.A small but intriguing grouping of 19th-century rifle parts, including a brass thumb piece from a Henry rifle magazine assembly, used to compress the internal spring during loading and an early frame-mounted rear sight for a Volcanic-type lever-action rifle (the forerunner to the Henry and Winchester designs). Additional components include a ramrod brass tip and barrel sight fittings, all housed together in a display box. These represent important developmental pieces in the evolution of America's iconic lever-action firearms.
Condition: Good overall, with patina to brass and light handling or storage wear consistent with age. Surfaces show minor oxidation and darkening typical of early arms components. Each part retains fine definition and form, offering clear historical and mechanical interest for the advanced arms collector.
