Soldier's memorial lithograph for Company F of the 3rd Regiment of Maine Volunteers. Washington, D.C.: Case, Walrad & Baker, 1863. 18" x 21.5" (sight). Designed by Major & Knapp, New York. A beautifully designed and extensively detailed memorial for Company F, who mustered into service June 4, 1861, by Captain Thomas Hight at Augusta, Maine. It includes a roster and list of officers as well as engagements participated in. Among those is the First Battle of Bull Run, Siege of Yorktown, Battles of Seven Pines, Fair Oaks, Peach Orchard, Glendale, Malvern Hill, Georgetown, Manassas, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, and Gettysburg. It is framed to the overall size of 23" x 29". Not examined outside of the frame.

Condition: Dampstained and foxed.
