Description
Joseph Hooker: Print Featuring the Union General and His Staff.The 8.625" x 6.625" image is mounted to an overall size of 12" x 9.875" and portrays General Hooker (seated second from the right) among his staff. A penciled inscription in an unknown hand at the back reads in part, "General Joseph Hooker [and] Staff at Battle of Chancellorsville - May 2, 1863..."
Condition: In overall great condition. The edges of the mounting board exhibit chipping and light tearing, with the corners rounded and worn. Very minor soiling is throughout, and a small stain appears at the upper left portion, barely effecting the top of the image. The back side has light tearing due to the removal of previous adhesives.
