Description
Unmarked Half-Stock Percussion Shotgun.Unserialized, 28 gauge, 31-inch octagonal to round barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut half-stock. Brass tipped wood ramrod. Metal buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Pitted bore. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford
