Description
Rast & Gasser Model 1898 Double Action Service Revolver.Serial no. 90559 [barrel, frame and cylinder], 8mm, 4 1/2-inch barrel with standard fixed sights. Blued finish. Left side of frame stamped: PATENT / RAST & GASSER / WIEN. Checkered walnut grips. Lanyard ring. Revolvers were used by the Austro-Hungarian Army during World War I.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 20-30% of a thinning finish with scattered wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
