Description
Cased Gebruder Merkel Suhl 203E Over & Under Shotgun.Serial no. 46662 [receiver and barrels], 12 gauge. 28-inch barrels with matted ventilated rib and front bead sight. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll-engraved receiver. Figured walnut checkered pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Hard rubber grip cap. Sling swivels. Original grooved horn buttplate. Contained in leather carrying case. Barrel measurements: .012" and 0.34". Weight: 7 1/2 pounds. Pull: 14 3/8-inches.
Condition: Excellent as refinished. Barrels have been reblued. Stock has been lightly refinished. Action good. Mirror bright bores. Carrying case showing minor storage wear, large scuff to top, one section of interior lining loose and one inner wall loose.
