Description
British Amberg Model 71 Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 88521 [rear sight, barrel, barrel band and receiver], 11mm caliber, 33 1/2-inch octagonal to round barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Various Britain proof marks. Top of barrel marked: (crown) / AMBERG. Smooth hardwood straight stock with Two barrel bands, bayonet lug and sling swivels. Metal buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with noticeable handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
