Description
Large Single Blade Dirk Knife by Hunter and Son.Approximately 13 3/4-inches overall when fully extended. 6 1/4-inch spearpoint blade with ricasso marked HUNTER / & SON / SHEFFIELD on one side and the hunting horn trade symbol on the other side. Massive staghorn grip handles. Note: This knife previously sold at Butterfield and Butterfield's September 1995 Arms and Armor sale [#6272A] as lot 1626. Photocopy of B&B invoice included.
Condition: Very good to fine as configured. Blade has been refinished. A few stress cracks, but all there. When closed blade has some movement. Blade opens nicely, snaps close.
