Description
Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver.Serial no. 137260 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. COLT'S / PATENT stamped to left side of frame. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Faint cartouche to each side of grip. Manufactured in 1863.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Noticeable dings and scuffs present to wood. Action tight. Moderately pitted bore.
