Navy Arms Reproduction Harpers Ferry Lewis & Clark Flintlock Rifle.Serial no. 42655, .54 caliber, 35 1/2-inch octagonal and round barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: NAVY ARMS HARPERS FERRY-WV. Smooth walnut straight stock with brass triggerguard and buttplate. Hinged patchbox inscribed: JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY / LEWIS & CLARK / 1803-1806. Sold along with peace medal marked: T.H. JEFFERSON PRESIDENT OF THE U.S. A.D. 1801 and PEACE / AND / FRIENDSHIP.
Condition: Excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear. Action good. Bore bright.
