Description
Scarce Antique British Model D Air Rifle by B.S.A. c. 1912-1913. Scarce Antique British Model D Air Rifle by B.S.A. c. 1912-13Serial no. 21374, .25 caliber, 19 1/2-inch barrel with compression spring chamber. Dovetailed front sight and vacant rear sight. Adjustable trigger. Checkered walnut stock. This model, based on the patent of Lincoln Jeffries was very popular in the 1920s and numerous models were produced.Condition: Fair. Metal lightly cleaned and showing a grey-brown patina with scattered light pitting present. Action needs overhaul and spring possibly replaced. Wood good with minor wear and marks.
