Description
Colt Blackpowder Series U.S.M.R. Dragoon Revolver.Serial no. 22147 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY. Etched cylinder scene. COLT'S / PATENT to left side of frame. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Crisp action. Bright bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
