Description
German I. M. Haman Ansbach. Flintlock Pistol.Unserialized, approximately .58 caliber, 10 1/2" smoothbore octagon to round barrel inset in silver, A. Ansbach on the top barrel flat, the number 2 engraved at the tang. Lock marked: IM HAMAN. Checkered walnut full-stock. Blank silver escutcheon to top of wrist. Brass grip cap and triggerguard. Wood ram rod.
Condition: Very good. Showing traces of blue, the balance a soft grey patina with signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action needs adjustment. Strong bore.
