Starr Arms Co. Civil War Army Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 28034 [barrel and cylinder], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Left side of frame marked: STARR. ARMS. CO. NEW. YORK., right side: STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15 1856. Inspector mark B stamped to left side of barrel, frame and base of triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. R+S carved into butt.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action needs adjustment. Lightly pitted bore. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
