Description
Starr Arms Co. Civil War Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 15153 [barrel and cylinder], .44 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Left side of frame stamped: STARR ARMS CO. NEW YORK; STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15. 1856 to the right. L inspector mark to cylinder, B to triggerguard and backstrap. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Condition: Very good as cleaned. Overall showing scattered signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable dings and scuffs present to wood. Action functions. Strong bore. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
