Description
Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-29) Flown American Flag and Mission Patch on Presentation Mat. A 5.75" x 4.125" U.S. cloth flag and a 4" diameter embroidered mission insignia patch mounted on a lightweight 11" x 14" mat along with an (assumed) unflown 4.5" TDRS-4 patch. The certificate states that: "This flag and STS mission patch were flown aboard the Discovery STS-29 mission that carried TDRS-4 into orbit on March 13, 1989." This payload was a Tracking and Data Relay satellite. Extremely fine condition.Auction Info
