Description
U.S. Navy Smith & Wesson Double Action Revolver.Serial no. V101970 [butt] and 54312 [frame and crane], .38 caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Left side of top strap marked: U.S. NAVY. Smooth walnut grip panels. Lanyard ring.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with some thinning to relief edges, handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Few scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
