Description
U.S. Colt Army Model 1917 Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 110975 [butt] and 264430 [frame], .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Base of barrel marked: UNITED STATES PROPERTY. Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. Smooth walnut grip panels. Lanyard ring. Butt marked: U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1917.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-94% finish with uniform thinning at muzzle, thinning to relief edges and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
