Description
Plant's Mfg. Co. Front-Loading Army Single Action Revolver with Extra Cylinder.Serial no. 315 [butt and frame under grips], .42 caliber, 6-inch ribbed octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Top of barrel marked: PLANT'S MFG. CO. NEW HAVEN CT. Left side of frame stamped: M&B / N.Y. Case-hardened hammer and spur trigger. Smooth rosewood grip panels. Sold along with extra cylinder.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with honest handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood. Crack through left grip panel. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
