Description
Battleship USS Pennsylvania (BB-38) Motor Launch Boat Ensign, From the Rungee Collection.Wool multi-piece construction, measuring approximately 26 x 42-inches. Hoist end is stencil marked "US PA MOTER [sic] LN BOAT 3". Two brass grommets at each end of the hoist. The consignor indicates this flag was associated with the USS Pennsylvania in some capacity, perhaps a home port landing vehicle, etc. The flag is accompanied by a Vexillological Inventory Form from the Flag Heritage Foundation.
Condition: The flag is uniformly faded with some loss the muslin cloth of the anchor and stars and scattered small holes. Good condition.
