Description
Customized Colt Sidehammer Half Stock Sporting Rifle.Caliber 60 [20 gauge], Blued finish with walnut stocks. 27-Inch round barrel. Topstrap marked COL COLT HARTFORD CT U.S.A. Serial no. 6363 on frame, #6533 on tang under triggerguard, #6290 bottom of barrel and #5816 back of cylinder. Cylinder flute marked PATENTED SEPT. 10TH 1850. Behind recoil shield remnants of COLT'S PATENT [ON CURVE] NOV 24TH 1857. Colt is approximately 46-inches overall. Gun weighs approximately 8lb 12 ounces, Please note: 56 cal. marking on triggerguard hidden by buttstock on left. Condition: Very good to fine as refinished and configured, retaining approximately 90% finish. Replacement barrel, smoothbore. Wood good with nicks, mars and handling wear. Action good, Bore good. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
