Description
Lot of Three Daisy Model 1894 Training BB Carbines Shipped Directly to Joe Bowman.Unserialized. Authentic Western Carbine Style. 40-shot lever action BB repeater. Slide safety. Adjustable rear sight. Smooth straight stocks and fore-ends. All are contained in individual factory pasteboard boxes (sealed). The trio are contained in outer cardboard shipping box. Shipping label is directly from Daisy Manufacturing, to Joe Bowman c/o Robert & Reid Engineer.
?Joe Bowman, known as "The Straight Shooter," began honing his marksmanship skills at a young age using BB guns. When he was 12 years old, his family moved to Houston, where he became an Eagle Scout and went on to graduate from Sam Houston High School in 1943. He would also use similar Daisy BB guns for entry level training to youth and actors training for their first Western roles.
