Description
WWII U.S. 48-Star Flag Marked "714th 12 CAV REC SQ" on the Hoist, Former Dr. Clarence Rungee Flag Collection.Printed on linen, 68 ½ x 41-inches. 1-inch wide hoist with brass grommets at each end. A nice flag associated with the 714th Tank Battalion, 12th Armored Corps. The 12th, nicknamed the "Hellcat Division" fought extensively in the Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace and central Europe.
Condition: With light water staining, scattered stains near the fly end, scattered small holes and a 3 ½ x 1 ½-inch tear in the lower corner. Good condition.
