Edwardian Royal Navy Admirals' Epaulettes Identified to Sir William Frederick Fisher, President of the Royal Naval College, Greenwich.

Fisher's Royal Navy Admiral's epaulettes in the original Gieves, Matthews & Seagroves, Ltd. japanned metal box. The lid has a brass plate engraved "Rear Admiral F. W. Fisher." The reverse side of each epaulette is marked with the Gieves, Matthews & Seagroves logo. Fisher (1851-1943) commanded several battleships including HMS Collingswood and HMS Canopus. He was Superintendent of Malta Dockyard in 1907. He retired from the Royal Naval College in 1914.
