WWII Lifebuoy Identified to the USS Swordfish (SS-193).

Approximately 24-inches in diameter. The USS Swordfish was a Sargo-class submarine launched in April of 1939. She was on station at Manilla, Philippine Islands when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. She sank several Japanese merchant and war ships during her thirteen war patrols. She was presumed lost in action in the Ryukyu Islands, January 12, 1945.

Condition: Very good. The remaining portions of the rope are fragile.
