Description
U.S. Colt 1902 Frontier Alaskan Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 48153 [butt], .45 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. 1902 and U.S. stamped to rights side of frame. R.A.C. to left side of frame and triggerbow. Oversized triggerguard. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels. Lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1901. According to consignor notes; gun purchased from Robert Howard of Dallas, Texas in 1979.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily is a smooth grey patina with scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Minor scuffs present to grips. Action good. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
