Description
Colt New Police Model Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 898 [frame and crane], .38 caliber, rare 6-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Rampant Colt logo surrounded by COLT'S NEW POLICE on left side of frame. Left side barrel reads COLT NEW POLICE 38, right side reads Right side of barrel reads POLICE / [P]OSITIVE. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 50-60% of a thinning finish with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Few minor scuffs to grips. Action not working, needs adjustment. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
