Group of Nine Twentieth Century Law Enforcement Badges.Includes: 1) Salem, Oregon Patrolman badge, 3 x 3-inches, pinback. Maker marked "ENTENMANN LOS ANGELES". This example with a typed paper label affixed to the back: "Presented by Chief Roy E. Hollady 6-17-74". 2) Indianapolis W.H. Police badge, five-pointed star, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4-inches, pinback, no maker's mark. 3) Carson City, Nevada Police badge, six-pointed star, 2 x 2 1/4-inches, pinback. Maker marked "MOISE-K CO. MAKERS S.F. CAL." 4) City of San Antonio Motor Police badge numbered 15, 2 1/2 x 3 1/4-inches, pinback, maker marked "C SIMMANG". 5) Columbus, Ohio Police badge numbered 143, 2 1/4 x 3-inches, pinback and with a belt chain attachment. No maker mark. 6) Sacramento Police sterling badge numbered 209, 3 x 3-inches, pinback with roller catch, maker marked "Ed. Jones & Co. Oakland Cal. Sterling". 7) Springfield Police badge numbered 16, 3 1/4 x 3 1/2-inches, pinback. Maker marked "Childs & Co. Engravers, Chicago". 8) Albany, New York Captain of Public Safety Bureau of Police badge, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4-inches, pinback. No maker's mark. 9) Denver Police badge numbered 94, five-pointed star, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4-inches, pinback. Maker marked "NOVELTY MF'G CO. 1126 16TH ST. DENVER".
