U.S. New Navy Model 1895 Colt Double Action Revolver.

Serial no. 208 [frame and crane], .38 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight. Blued finish. Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. Case-hardened hammer and fire-blued trigger. Butt Marked: USN / (anchor) / 38DA / NO. / 8227 / F.H.S. / 89 / 198. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels.

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 50-60% of a thinning finish with scattered signs of handling wear, fine patches of pitting and tracking line to cylinder. Crisp action. Bright bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
