Engraved Colt First Model No. 1 Derringer.Serial no. 1533 [butt], .41 caliber, 2 1/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Steel construction. Scroll engraved frame. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO. / HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. / NO. 1. Case-hardened hammer and spur trigger.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing honest handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Barrel markings are faint in areas. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
