Description
Colt Single Action Army Revolver Conversion from .45 to .22.Serial no. 67316 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .22 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Cylinder converted to .22 caliber from .45 caliber. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. Smooth grip panels, with carved steer head to right side. Manufactured in 1881.
Condition: Very good as refinished and configured. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with thinning at muzzle, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Crisp action. Bright bore.
