Description
Colt Model Richards Mason Conversion Open Top Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 2706 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, butt and cylinder], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Nickel-plated finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA. Etched cylinder scene. Left side of frame stamped: COLTS / PATENT. Brass triggerguard marked: .44 CAL. Stag grip panels.
Condition: Very good to excellent as refinished. Overall showing noticeable areas of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Wedge screw absent. Action tight, but functions. Moderately pitted bore.
