Description
Factory Engraved Merwin & Bray 1865 Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 9021 [butt], .38 caliber, 4 3/4-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Top of barrel marked: MERWIN & BRAY NEW YORK. Brass frame with case-hardened hammer and spur trigger. APC stamped to butt. Mother-of-pearl grip panels.
Condition: Good. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, chips and cracks present to grips. Extractor pin absent. Main spring loose inside of grip panels. Action not working. Lightly pitted bore.
