Description

Colt Single Action Army Revolver.

Serial no. 303868 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .41 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Two-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels. Manufactured in 1907. According to consignor notes, "tuned and filed hammer, hair trigger, old fanning six-shooter".

Condition: Good as refinished and configured. Finish a smooth grey patina with handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Dins and smooth checkering present to grips. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
